volco Posted December 26, 2013 Report Posted December 26, 2013 Dream Academy - Life in a Northern Town And this is something really interesting I've become addicted to. Medieval Portuguese music. And this is my drinking song, it's a very popular drinking song A ce flacon faison la guerre! Quote
theestevearnold Posted March 17, 2014 Report Posted March 17, 2014 My girlfriend's orchestra recently performed Ludwig van's Ninth and, if you haven't heard it live, I recommend it. She also sings for our rock band. One of the songs we cover is Champagne Supernova by Oasis. Sometimes a little supergalactic romantic psychedelia can be nice--not as an escape from reality--as a supplement to the quiet visuals of Hubble. Quote

New Buddha Posted August 19, 2016 Report Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) Thought I would breath some life into this Post. I was turned onto some music that I'd not heard before. I may have posted this before, but if I did, it's worth posting again. This is a true 20th Century Masterpiece. First bought the CD in the mid to late 1980's. Wild nights - Wild nights! Were I with thee Wild nights should be Our luxury! Futile - the winds - To a Heart in port - Done with the Compass - Done with the Chart! Rowing in Eden - Ah - the Sea! Might I but moor - tonight - In thee! - Emily Dickinson Edited August 19, 2016 by New Buddha Quote
