Pericles(MBA)
The Crucial Distinction Kerry's Solutions Dr Hurd's comments, (from two months ago), about the possibility of Bush losing were right on the mark. Bush is trying to make everyone happy, and doesn't know how to defend his side. Part of debate skills to understand the side you are arguing. We know Bush would build bunker-buster nukes (and other advanced weapons), but when attacked for it in the debate he had nothing to say. His energy was entirely focused on sending the message that he was a populist. Do you think the president fully understand's why advanced weapon systems are important? Do any of you think Bush knows what he is defending against? Bush's presentation style of "everybody wins" pragmatism are making him as unpopular as Neville Chamberlain. The difference is that this time Bush has all the best people on his side and is going to let them down.
MisterSwig
Do you think the president fully understand's why advanced weapon systems are important? Do any of you think Bush knows what he is defending against? Bush knows exactly what he is defending. He is defending his faith that God would not lead him astray. Have you noticed how, lately, Bush and Cheney both have a lot of "confidence" in their plan for victory in Iraq? "Confidence," to these people, means faith. The Left is making headway on destroying every "reason" Bush offered for going to war with Iraq. Now all Bush and Cheney have is their faith in "democracy" and "freedom." Bush is faith-based--big-time. Don't expect him to change or "see the light" of reason any time soon.

In fact, the capitalists really did a job in dismembering Bush's excuses for going to war in Iraq, and the methods by which Bush uses to fight this "war." The leftists look like a bunch of clueless wimps, in comparison.
