Just found this on another forum. It's a PDF of Irwin Schiff's long-lost illustrated story-book about capitalism. A very clever and fun read - may be useful for some of those Objectivist parents out there!

Dang! That thing is 112 pages long! O_O I'd be amazed if you could get a little kid to pay attention to all of that, even over multiple nights. Also, if a kid is too young, they probably won't even know what an economy is and have never heard of all kinds of things mentioned in the book, like the federal reserve. If the kid is old enough though that they have heard of this stuff, they'e probably too old to be interested in that kind of book with lots of cartoony illustrations. Sadly, I'm afraid this intended "children's book" may actually find more of an audience among adults looking for an easy explanation of capitalism and the flaws of trying to use force to alter people's economic actions. Not that having something like that is bad, just it looks like that means it didn't end up achieving the original goal.

Double Post:

I showed this to my roommate. xD It must've struck a nerve or something. It elicited almost two-dozen offline messages to attack it on MSN today while I was at work. Mostly ad-hominems against the author and talking about how Abel is an ass.

I am amused.
