JMeganSnow
You can never actually know what another person is thinking, only what they say, and what they do. Their actual thinking doesn't affect you, only, again, what they say, and what they do. Endless efforts to infer what someone else is thinking can only make you confused and doubtful. Someone that acts and speaks in accordance with bad philosophy is much worse than someone who merely has internalized some examples of it and acts in a different manner entirely. "Just the facts, Ma'am. Just the facts." The essence of "Political Correctness", and why we all (well, most) of us hate it so, is the dishonesty and "appeasing of observed evil" that it embodies. If you "make nice", you are being evil. Pure and simple. If you are attacking to harm without reasoned reason, you are being evil. If you are stating and/or acting the truth, then you are acting properly. Others will take anything you say or do as they will. And you have no way to make them interpret it "as you want them to". But,.. why would you want to? It'd be a terribly boring world if you could. ..though we might do with a LITTLE more of that type of boredom, I suppose. -Iakeo
