Does disagreement imply immorality?

If for some bizarre reason I held the principle "I will debate a person only if I am certain that he will agree with me", then it would be immoral to contradict that principle. (Although I cannot see what could justify such a principle in the first place).

Just a quick clarification. Are you saying that it's immoral to contradict a principle you hold, regardless of whether the principle is true or false, justified or unjustified? Or are you just saying that you should not contradict that principle, if it turned out to be justified?
