Tired of Canadian left-ism

hey all, first time ere.

I'm a high-school student in Atlantic Canada (alot of socialism out here, and I am a capitalist) and I'm tired of everyone targeting President Bush and calling him evil, or even satanic. I personally believe in the Bush administration and what they have done. I'd like to see what you think of all the left-ism up here.

Thanx.

My moms canadian and she always talks about how great it is in Canada where everyone has free health care, sure, and theres hardly any crime. I honestly don't know much about the country though.

free health care blows man, it may be free, but the quality is terrible. I once had an infection for 2 weeks before they could see me, almost lost a leg :S.

I love how the democratic presidential candidates are talking about 'free' health care. Theres no such thing, it's just a utopian sounding term. Does it usually take that long to see a doctor?

I grew up in Canada. Routine office visits are usually not a problem, but there are sometimes long waits for operations and diagnostic procedures. The biggest issue of course is that the doctors have no freedom; it is actually illegal to sell medical services privately (unless they are not covered by the govt plan).

Actually, the phenomenon isn't limited to Canada. It's pretty much the same story in many parts of Europe.

My favorite response to them is, "You guys ain't seen nuthin' yet. Wait until Americans elect a real cowboy as President!" :)
