Sharia law is being imposed in the US as we speak- by our own court system.

In this case a man was found not guilty of raping & beating his wife because Islamic law dictates that a man can have sex with his wife whenever he wants:

Apart from the rape verdict the woman was also denied a restraining order against her husband.

That is not an imposition of Sharia Law, that is political correctness out of control in the courts, taking "respect for religious beliefs" to a point of ad absurdum, there are plenty of examples of that, Islam related and otherwise. (The number of outrageous court rulings in this country in just the last year is too long to ever list). There is a big difference buddy.

You can criticize Islam all you want, SapereAude. In fact it deserves to be criticized. However at least make sure you know what you are talking about before you do.
