Greebo
I'm really hoping that someone can refer me to another version of "We The Living" than the one narrated by Mary Woods. I find her style of reading choppy and disjointed. She has that awful habit some readers have of treating commas as if they were periods, so that when a sentence has a descriptive phrase, the delay before the descriptive phrase is read is so long that you think she's starting another sentence and you have to mentally backtrack to apply the description to the noun that's already on its way out of your immediate attention. It's so distracting I haven't been able to stand listening even to 1 chapter. Are there any other versions out there? Or will I have to try to make time for the paper copy? Reading hardcopy is something I have very little time for today.
