Normally I am all for people going after all the profit they can get.

But for someone who hates money so much he certainly seems to want a lot of it.

On the bright side, the people he's suing financed all his recent excretions... perhaps this will put an end to that.

I hate universal health care and still use it. What's the problem with that? If we were living under socialism or whatever I'd see a contradiction with him going for more money, but we're not, so I don't see what the big deal is. He's got to make a living, and the only way he's going to live a comfortable life in the system he's living in is through capital. You won't see a communist renounce to private property and die under 'capitalism' in real life, simply because he's not living under communism, and pretending to live as if he were would be pretty stupid and pointless. It's simply a matter of context.

Michael Moore's net worth is $25 million USD

"It’s ironic that Michael Moore is about to release a scathing documentary on capitalism considering how much he has personally has benefited from it."

While I detest Michael Moore for his blatant dishonesty in all his "documentary" films, I don't find this hypocritical. Authoritarian statists want power for themselves and equate that directly with having and controlling money. With that money they tend to purchase political influence.

Of course he wants more money. And he's not going to be bothered with whether or not he has legitimately earned it. He surely believes that he "deserves" it and the big/rich company he is suing does not.

"Money will not serve that mind that cannot match it."

I don't think you are getting the point. Or perhaps you aren't familiar enough with his movies.

That argument would make a little more sense if there were no communist countries on Earth. But there are, and they would welcome Michael Moore with open arms. All he would have to do, to renounce capitalism and experience his supposed ideal, is move there.

I apologize for an off topic comment but I think the focus should be more on those who made these projects possible. It is those people who empower otherwise powerless people like Michael Moore.

I am not sure why they doing this. Perhaps they share his beliefs, perhaps they are pragmatically motivated by what brings profit without the regard for content. Either way, it is those people we should name and speak against.

I think you should read the link I posted on how much his films actually cost to make.Personally, I don't see why we have to pick and choose. A scumbag is a scumbag.

As mentioned by Dante, why should we have to choose?

We can hate them all for their own contributions.

As nearly impossible as it is to believe some people really like Michael Moore. Some people find him charismatic.

Some people have the money to market the message but need someone else to put it out.

Although, perhaps it isn't hard to believe that "progressives" find him charismatic- he is the living embodiment of their wretched view of man.

Umm...Not only there are none, but there has never been one. Oh, God. I'm not getting into this argument again...

Good idea. I don't really care what you want to call it. Last I checked people don't get to arbitrarily change the name when their ideology fails too many times and makes them look bad. It's not reproducible in real life, and therefore its only example is horrible failed attempts. This is what happens when you deny facts of reality and human nature, not to mention economics and then try to force your failed ideas on populations.
