Shintaro Ishihara apologized Tuesday for his remark that the devastating earthquake and subsequent tsunami that struck eastern and northeastern Japan represented "divine punishment" of the Japanese people who have been tainted with egoism. {...]"We need to use tsunami to wipe out egoism, which has rusted onto the mentality of Japanese over a long period of time." freestyle
Glenn Beck's stupid quote had nothing to do with Egoism. He was just saying that maybe God kills Japanese people in massive natural disasters to make a subtle and cryptic point about how humans are doing down here. D'kian
Didn't Japan try to eradicate egoism once before? As I recall, several millions of Chinese and Koreans did not live through the attempt.
