CapitalistSwine
Good luck ever getting rid of ObamaCare. These people will die before they give this free candy up: From: http://www.reddit.com/r/politics/comments/gznyk/what_obama_care_has_done_for_me/
softwareNerd
How is it free if their premiums went up to pay for all this?
CapitalistSwine
How is it free if their premiums went up to pay for all this? If you look at commentary they pretty much view it as free. They are more than willing to suffer higher premiums for the rest.
IchorFigure
How about we make up our own chart of "What ObamaCare has done to you". Pointing out all the ways ObamaCare actually lowers ones quality of life. -Raises actual costs of medical treatments. -Lowers quality of medical treatments. -Robs you of a potentially greater quality of life had future medical innovations not been obstructed. -Lowers economic productivity in general and hence lowers your future standard of living. -Further wounds individual rights and brings objective rule of law closer to an end. -Empowers shmoozers and social palm-greasers to trample over anyone without clout. etc. etc.
John_Galt
My premiums have gone up about 25% in the last couple of years.
aequalsa
I have a friend with private insurance who just got a similar letter along with a 70% increase in premium cost. That's just the beggining though. Wait until the purchase is mandated in 2014 and the insurance idustry gets a flood of irrationally increased demand. Thank god for price controls... Steve D'Ippolito
Poor, ignorant fools who do not understand that a private system will work best for people who are truly willing to pay for it. Many of them aren't willing to pay for it. That's the problem.
CapitalistSwine
How about we make up our own chart of "What ObamaCare has done to you". They don't care nor understand. They will take the lower quality if it means not losing their livelihood because of an unfortunate accident due to our horribly messed up medical sector.
