T-Mobil is a crappy company and could only have improved under AT&T. Further... if the last merger AT & T went through is any guide (Cingular) T-Mobil people would have been grandfathered in their old plans. No one new would have been allowed to sign up for those plans in the future, but people in them already could have stuck with them indefinitely.
