[email protected]
Where does Rand write on Popper's idea of falsifiability? Sounds like I need to reread this.
Plasmatic
Well there's a lecture on Popper at the Ayn Rand book store but she didn't write about Popper as such. What she did do was lay out a proper objective epistemology, the knowledge of which will inform one of the problems with Popper and any other bad philosophy. [email protected]
As I've said before, I've read extensively on Objectivist epistemology and I see falsification as essential to usefulness in a hypothesis. What specifically have I missed?
Plasmatic
Before I answer let me ask, have you actually read Popper and seen what HE says about falsification? I ask because there is a very specific mistake almost every person who talks about falsification makes. I'll elaborate when you respond.....We are getting a bit off topic here.
