intellectualammo
I went to see Atlas Shrugged Part 2 in a theatre the first and second weekend it came out. (10/13,10/21) I distinctly remember seeing John Galt face at the end. Both times. But, I just bought the video and his face was in darkness so I did not see him this time, like I remembering seeing him before. Did anyone else see his face at the theatres? CptnChan
I also saw it twice and it was darkened. I distinctly remember being disappointed because they already gave it away that he was real in Part 1, so I thought they would give us something more. Plus, I want me some D.B. Sweeney! intellectualammo
I remember seeing and posting about how loose his face looked, like loose cheeks, when I saw the movie in theatres. Here was my post about that then: http://forum.objectivismonline.com/index.php?showtopic=23552&p=298787 Edited February 23, 2013 by intellectualammo
CptnChan
Thoroughly perplexing. All I can say is that the scene I saw in theaters and the one on my dvd are the same.
moralist
I just watched it tonight (DVD) for the first time, and Galt's face was pretty well shadowed but his left ear was nicely backlit. Sigh... now the wait for the third movie. No movie will ever capture the book, although this one was better than part one.
