six_cannons
I served as chaplain for the 800th MP Brigade in 2003 (made famous by the Abu Ghraib pictures). When the pictures were released, I was as shocked and dismayed as anyone else. The profile of the 800th that was presented in the press troubled me and I began to write my own reflections on my experience as a moblized chaplain for the 800th in Kuwait and Iraq. That developed into an inquiry. I relected on the press, the purpose of the war, and America's interpretation of the war and the events associated with the war. This book is the result of that inquiry. I am proud of the book and I think it fits well in the philosophy and ethics arena. I hope you will give it a glance.
