JMeganSnow
I just went to see this movie yesterday and I have to say it was quite fun! The characters were funny and wry, the setting was great, the stunts were cool, all in all very nice. Even better, the film is definitely pro-American. It represents America as a country with faults, but with virtues that greatly outweigh those faults. A crowd of Californians waving American flags and cheering because they've just joined the Union is a wonderful thing to see.
tommyedison
Even though I haven't seen the movie, I have read a few reviews and its romantic part of the plot is a big turn off for me. Zorro's wife starts dating a Frenchman because her husband is too busy being Zorro? Too trite.
JMeganSnow
Well, yeah, it was a melodrama, not an actual drama Intellectually it wasn't deep or anything, it was just mildly fun. I actually WANTED to see V for Vendetta, but it's not out until March! Grr. Oh well, Goblet of Fire is out in 2 weeks, I can wait until then

It looked like the movie might be good, but Antonio Banderas gets on my nerves most of the time. With your recommendation, I might go see it, though.
