Rosmerta
I have been trying for some time to find a reliable news source. The results of which have been this: If anyone could point me in the right direction I would be very grateful.
softwareNerd
For general world and US news, I read the RSS feeds from New York Times and BBC. I also glean some info from the RSS feeds off the Wall Street Journal. For local news, I use a feed from Topix (you can specify your Zip Code). Then, there are bloggers for various types of news and commentary: finance, technology, Iraq. I pretty much 80% of my news via RSS feeds. Finally, you'll have to make the final judgment or what correspondents and blogger to trust on what issue and about what is news and what is commentary on your own. rob.sfo
I find TIA Daily to be a good source of current events combined with Objectivist-oriented commentary. I've also just started a trial subscription to the Harry Binswanger List and it seems to full of good discussions / commentary.
BurgessLau
I have been trying for some time to find a reliable news source. I find this topic fascinating, and I would like to offer some observations. First, though, would you, Rosmerta/Diane, explain what you mean by "reliable"? Second, do you have other requirements for a news source? Third, what is your purpose in wanting "news," whatever that means to you? I know that is a lot of questions, but I think that answers to them will establish a clearer context and thereby facilitate progress.
