Gallo And Linklater

I am interested in getting oppinions on the work of these two film makers. Linklater director of Slacker and Gallo director of Brown Bunny and Buffalo 66, films that certainly do not represent objectivist values in any way in their content. That said, the sheer individuality and "self-centerdness" (for want of a better word) of their films is at the very least interesting.
