bobsponge
I've been thinking, after seeing so much uppity behavior among places like North Korea, Iran, Lebanon, other militant Shia groups, etc, is this all just a sort of call-to-arms from fringe-groups presenting an 'alternative' to capitalism to the disenchanted poor whiners without an ounce of motivation in their bones? I believe the US economy has been undermined by the communofascist principles of the democratic party since the New Deal (and we all know what a deal that was! should be called the Bum Deal), and it seems to get worse every day. I don't think it's an issue of the democrats forcing their way in, but more like weevils-- they sneak in and burrow while nobody else is paying attention, or is distracted, and then you find wacked-out legislation that spends a dollar to save a penny, approved only because they told everyone that it would save a penny, and carefully neglected to mention the dollar part. Is this call-to-arms from the wacko minority in any way related to the weakening foundation of capitalism in the USA? Distract the dying beast with quick moves, while the other killers sneak up and bite into its spine from behind... With Hilary Clinton vaguely hinting at running for president in 2008, and all the other freaks and nuts getting loud and obnoxious, it's seeming like the first signs of the apocalypse to me. -J
ggdwill
"The American people will never knowingly adopt socialism. But, under the name of 'liberalism,' they will adopt every fragment of the socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened." - Norman Thomas, former U.S. Socialist Presidential Candidate - Grant
