One on one versus open debates

When I created this forum, I intended it to be for one-on-one debates, but I see that many of the debates have been one-against-many. I have no objection to that, but keep in mind that the thread starter decides the format of the debate, and the moderators will enforce his chosen format if nessessary.

Since this forum rule cannot really apply in the debate forum...

Therefore participants must not use the website to spread ideas contrary to ...Objectivism. Examples include religion, communism, "moral tolerationism," and libertarianism.
...therefore the "debate forum" becomes a place for such discussion.
