AutoJC
WGD ECONOMICS has almost nothing to do with why wars start. False. Economics was involved in Saddam Hussein's decision in 1990 to attack Kuwait. Rather than pay back loans owed to Kuwait, and having been refused by Kuwait to defer or even forgive such loans, motivated Iraq to attack and take over Kuwait by force. Economics is a major reason why wars start. If a country lacks in resources it then has to figure out by what framework it can trade with other countries inthe global economy to obtain such resources by trade. if a country fails to initiate such trade it then happens in history that a dictator will take over to mobilize an army that will attack a country for the resorces the attacking country lacks. History contains countless accounts of wars fought over economically related issues.
