Part of me thinks it would be good to get out, simply because we have adopted the wrong mission and are doing more harm than good by attempting to prop up "democracy" rather than just removing the threat. The other part of me thinks that pulling out would be a worse outcome, since it will only embolden the terrorists. This really is a shit situation.
