Thanksgiving Day

“To Muslims: This is America”

We’ve put away our kings for good,

I hope that’s where they stay.

Our rulers serve for eight years max.

And they’re quite poorly paid.

No more men on thrones of gold

Taken from the people’s hides.

No more grandstand second-handers

Claiming some god’s pride.

We’ve dethroned the Pope as well,

And separated church and state;

Religions heard the first death knell;

Mankind has a new clean slate.

We have found a new god now -

Its logic, wealth, the dollar sign,

Freedom, rights and happiness -

Enjoying life we call sublime.

No more bowing down to need

For we no longer worship god.

No more hating wealth and greed -

Such aberrations are so odd!

But there is a people still

Devout and holy in their ways,

Following their god’s own will,

Making nonbelievers pay.

Jihad on the nonbelievers!

Death to all the infidels!

You shall follow Allah’s way!

Or else forever burn in hell!

This new threat to human life,

This new promise to enslave,

Is just the same stale hatred which

America has finally stayed.

We’ll stay free, so mark these words:

Do NOT mistake our future plans:

Religious power? That’s absurd!

Tyrant Muslim, stay your hands!

Keep Allah inside your cave,

Or god’s same fate we do decree.

You won’t have us as your slaves -

We’d sooner die than such to be.

We would first die on our feet

Than kneel before your hands.

You best be ready death to greet,

For death’s not in our plans!

Its you or us, as you’ve proclaimed.

We’ve seen all this before.

And who shall die? Who will be maimed?

Freedom will endure!

The Muslims Are Right

The Muslims are right,

Just examine their ways

And you’ll see that they’re properly frightened;

The Muslims see clearly the threats to their culture,

For the West is a culture Enlightened.

While they tout religion and dogma and prayer,

And their youth memorize the Koran,

The West has its science and reason and freedom,

And the sovereign rights of man.

Islam preaches faith and belief -

The oldest saw in all history.

The West created the hypothesis,

And our science reveals every mystery.

Islam offers the altruist ethic:

Sacrifice they call virtue.

Jefferson immortalized our sacred phrase:

Its happiness man should pursue.

Islam claims that Sharia Law

Applies everywhere on the planet.

“Behead unbeliever!” they shout in a rage,

“Submit infidels to the gamut!”

But the West won’t give up -

We’ve come way too far

To submit to primordial beasts.

We will not regress to their ancient and dreary

Cannibalistic feast.

They spend more time praying

Than we spend at playing;

We work while they kneel in the mosque.

What will they get for their prayers when its over?

Nothing! They’ll see that they’ve lost.

Who will win this round?

Freedom, or Islam?

The West won before this began:

No more religion, hatred, contrition,

For we’ve found the Rights of Man.
