Casino Royale

One of the best action movies I have ever seen. The stunts were spectacular. Daniel Craig's performance was incredible. The cardplaying scenes were at times predictable, but the dramatic twists of the movie were suprising yet logically presented.

I had not seen a James Bond movie since I read The Romantic Manifesto, but Ayn Rand was right about Bond being one of the last remaining romantic heroes. A friend of mine said that during the rope scene (don't want to spoil this part of the movie, even though it will probably become the most famous part of Casino Royal) that Craig/Bond reminded her of Atlas, a strong figure holding the world's burdens on his shoulders.

I would love to hear what others think about the movie...
