aleph_0
Has anybody read best-selling author Robert Demille? If so, does anybody have any thoughts on his work? Though I've never read him, what I've heard of him always struck me as the same that could be said of any successful mystery-action author. In The Book that Changed my Life, though, he says that the three books which most influenced him were Atlas Shrugged, 1984, and Animal Farm. I now have his most celebrated work, The General's Daughter, but I have a lot of other works to read before getting to that. But now that I [superficially] look over his stuff, he does seem to have the no-nonsense, hard-nosed protagonist in his stories. And right now his book Wild Fire has been on the best-seller for at least ten weeks. Piques my interest.
