nimble
I am nimble. I have read all of Rand's works except The Virtue of Selfishness, and the Fountainhead ( i just cant force myself to do it, i read 200 pages and it was like all of her other fictional works with less suspense and lamer characters). Atlas Shrugged is my favorite book, but other than that i prefer her non fiction works. I have no political affiliation. As for religion, I am a steadfast atheist. I am attending Albion college in Michigan for a major in Economics and Philosophy. I am glad to be here, but i think most of you are too old and too serious here to appreciate my sense of humor, so ill try to lay off the sarcasm. Objectivist
Nimble you have to read the whole thing. THe Fountainhead is fantastic! I would say that the Howard Roark section is about 90% of the book.
Nick
I dont think he will. Instead, he generously allowed me to read it! What a pal! It had its high points. Nothing too spectacular. Atlas Shrugged is definitely better.
Objectivist
I think atlas is 10-15 times better. The character of toohey is fantasticly evil.
Bryan
I have read all of Rand's works except The Virtue of Selfishness, and the Fountainhead I find it difficult to believe that you have read Introduction to Objectivist Epistemology and you haven't read The Virtue of Selfishness. I personally like The Fountainhead better than Atlas Shrugged, I can identify with Roark more than the characters in Atlas.
Elle
a major in Economics and Philosophy I have been enjoying that combination also! As for old, I'm 19 and I think there are a good number of people who read and post who are in the 18 - 25 demographic.
