A blog I frequent posted defending Ayn Rand against the Neo Con evangelicals and while the post was in favor and defending Rand the blogger made an error which I did not think should stand. Below is my clarification.

(Myself)No, Rand was a philosopher that advocated the acknowledgment of existence, that upheld the law of identity, and championed mans reason and consciousness.
God, an entity that exists outside of reality, that believers claim can alter matter, that is unknowable and undefinable to man is an impossibility.
And that is why the religious hate her so. She places their gods where they belong, on the same level as leprachauns, faries and the Loch Ness Monster.
