Boots branded "Objectivist"

I was quite amused to see someone trying to brand boots “Objectivist”. Why “Objectivist”? Well, supposedly they combine form and function. Patent/copyright aside, I thinks it’s funny.

I’ve seen these shoes elsewhere, but I could not find a source after googling around a bit. The same manfacturer(?)/seller also offers: communist, socialist, utilitarian, individualist, etc. shoes. Very odd.

He figures that if giving it a particular name will make someone buy it, he’s happy to oblige. This marketing technique is similar to “The Liberty Dollar”.

The least he could do is not make it ugly.

:stuck_out_tongue: I think they really were surplus Communist boots.

The ones I saw before were all different – the “communists” were one design, the “individulaists” another, the “utilitarians” another, and so on. Some of them were pretty nice. Others, like the “objectivists” pictured here, were pretty ugly. I wonder if they accept noumenal money for the “Kantians”?
