The Washington Post leads with word that Congress is likely to give the Federal Reserve broad new powers so that it can regulate the nation’s entire financial system.
Ouch. I think that will leave the markets just about worthless as a reasonably volitile market that can offer a program of growth for investors.
Well, at least we can say they are consistant in thier pattern of making our Constitutional government more and more un-Constitutional. Ordinarily I would find predicatbility in government comforting, but not this time. Anybody have any idea when construction will be finished at Galt’s Gulch?
