I am from Netherlands. I am currently searching for any Objectivism related clubs/organizations
in Holland [Europe] I can’t seem to find one.
Till then forums and websites are my only way of comminication on OPAR.
I am interested in computers, politics, physics, internet, reading, worthwhile watcing movies and writting. I was hoping to find some fellow dutch people here, but i am almost sure that i am the only one.

Hope you find a club in the Netherlands. I suggest you go to ARI’s site (www.aynrand.org), and write to them with your question. If there is such a club, they will know. If not, they may give you the e-mail addresses of other Dutch Objectivists, and you can start one! 
Also, you may want to as Betsy, she seems to know these things.
Oh, BTW - my mother was born in the Netherlands, so that will make me… half-Dutch? I don’t speak the language, though.

I have tried to serach lot on the net, even asked an Objectivist club in UK for help…they all seem to be out of clues !

I have studied the work of Dutch physicists from Lorentz to 't Hooft, but that is as close as I become to being Dutch.

I don´t intend to goto Germany in the near future, so I guess I´ll wait, till I really need to join a club.
You don’t have to go Germany to join our group. We are not yet a club, only a loose group of people who share similiar ideas. I know some people -fine people- in Holland who are interested in Objectivism but i think they are very much liberterian leaned so I am a little bit skeptic that we can go in the same direction. There are plans to found a European wide Atlas Society Europe too. But let’s wait and see …

If this is the “Atlas Society” that is run by Bob Bidinotto, it is not very “Objectivist” nor really much of anything. It was begun as a web site to recruit fans of Ayn Rand’s fiction for David Kelley’s TOC by playing up sense of life issues and avoiding Ayn Rand’s philosophy. Bidinotto’s other recruiting efforts have been aimed at Libertarians and religious people.
I just checked and The Atlas Society is still just a web site whose only “events” and “activities” are all involved with Kelley’s group. There are NO mentions at all – even on their “Ayn Rand Links” page – of the Ayn Rand Institute, which sponsors some Objectivist clubs in Europe, or of the organization which is having the Objectivist Conference in London in September.
But woschei says that its in the making, so probably a new one.
I am all confused with Europe anyway: no Ayn Rand anywhere !
