Hello everyone,

My name is Michael, im a 22 year old student from Calgary. Objectivism has become a major force in my life since reading Atlas Shrugged when I was 17. I can say from page one it changed my life. At 18 (shortly after finishing Atlas Shrugged) I look Galts vow and have never looked back.

I have also grown up around objectivism, my father and grandfather both helps Rand’s work to the highest regard. I was taught value of capitalism, the free market, as well as logic and rationality.

I look forward to having more in-depth conversations with like minded (and not) individuals.

Hello there. Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you read Atlas right about the same time I did. :smiley: I wish though I had family who shared my high regard for Rand too. Sounds nice. No such luck though. Well, enjoy your stay here.

Well if you can avoid the religious right then I can’t think of a province more dedicated to capitalism than Alberta.

I agree Alberta is the most capitalist province Canada, but you nailed it on the whith the religious right. its to bad they are so powerful here
