opened it, read a few sentences and was ready to discard it as leftist claptrap but then came upon the notion of using welfare to “keep the poor down”.

Race realtions have worsened over the last 35 years. When you think “black” you think “welfare” despite the growth of the black middle class, 35%, and the overwhelming majority of welfare is white. Also the term “white trash” as if it is expected for blacks to be trash
The advent of the “race hustlers” like Jackson and Sharpton and notice their affinity to the poison that is killing their constituency. Oprah Winfrey has become just a plain lunatic
Under the specific direction of Jackson the term for blacks has become another hyphenated American despite the fact that the descendents of slaves have been here for over 7 generations. longer than many assimilated immigrant peoples and they have become so hostile that they call any black who makes it without being a kept person; read “a part of the university-media-totalitarian complex”, an “Uncle Tom” which makes the recent remarks by Clarence Thomas a tragedy: What have the collectivists done for him? So why is he joining the Jim Crows of the “high-tech lynching”?
Please note that Roy Innes of the Congress of Racial Equality and President Obam’s father were not US born. Also blacks who immigrate to the US from elsewhere get right into the opportunity stream
There may be something to this. It seems that we have a new Plantation system with the social workers as Overseers, race hustlers as Trustees and the masses toil to feed the liberals’ appetite for power.
