Lately I’ve noticed that I haven’t any sort of inspiration, which is literally the fuel needed to do anything in my opinion. This is bad news especially when I think back on how I was perhaps a little over a year ago, when I was driven, motivated, inspired! But I realized that nowadays, especially in the summer, I do nothing!

This hits the nail on the head completely. Inspiration presupposes something to be inspired about. What to be inspired about? Only a rational and therefore unchanging set of values can provide someone with a thing that elicits the emotional response of inspiration.
It seems that many never ask such a question, and accordingly spend their days wandering in a fog comprised mostly of boredom.
