My name is walsh.
I’ve been lurking on this forum for a while, and I decided I would join. I doubt that I will be as helpful as a few of you, but I hope to be able to add a little something every now and then.
My personal stuff: I’m in Austin, TX, but not a member of the local university club. Never did get around to joining, perhaps because as far as clubs go, the Objectivists are almost entirely invisible. Ms. Tara Smith does speak for other clubs, and I almost certainly will eventually join one of them.
I study rhetoric, oratory, and economics, at an undergraduate level.
That said, an enormous thank you is due. I have already learned a great deal from all of you and stand to learn more. This is one of the most useful sources I have found for the study of Objectivism. I am glad, GreedyCapitalist, that you provide it.
