I’ve worked at a number of large companies over the years and I currently have several of them as clients. Every single one of them bends over backwards to find, hire and retain minority workers.
What large companies have you worked with because the large majority of people I know that work for those companies are still white. Which is fine but you all make it seem that black people are overrunning everything. The reason networks like BET and Ebony magazine exist is because the mainstream mainly cators to the majority which are white people. There are jobs for black actors and models here in there but that is not mainstream. Also if you are white try reading an Ebony magazine or watching BET, I bet it would be wierd seeing all those black people, that is how many black people feel when they read one of those “mainstream” magazines or watch NBC, ABC, CBS etc.
Secondly Bush wasn’t a good choice for president I feel. Too me he got in the White House only because of his name. Bush isn’t the brightest guy and he has some experience but he has still made a mess of things. He has people hating tax cuts. All of a sudden though one black guy is taken seriously for president out of the whole history of the United States and it is World War 3 for some of you all. Ayn Rand didn’t get her way all the time during electrons and the world hasn’t blown itself up. The world has been going to end since forever!!!
Another thing that I have to mention is that it was Obama’s white mother who taught Obama about his African heritage and not his black father. Nothing is wrong with that at all I feel but she has been described as an extreme leftist so I’m guessing that is not all she had taught Obama. I dunno. Maybe I just love chaos. But I am kinda of hoping Obama will get elected just so I can watch everything go to hell. Maybe then a change in thinking will actually start. Sure there will be tremendous damage wrought, but so was there when Galt started the strike. I can identify with Galt in that mentality of - here’s what you said you wanted, now live with it.

I think the point is that an abrupt transition into naked socialism would be more beneficial in the long run than the slow, steady descent that we’ve been suffering for the past century. It’s the frog in the frying pan scenario on a huge scale.
My feeling is that Obama will shift shapes once he’s in office, much as he’s doing right now, in order to protect his political power, and ultimately, his legacy. He’s showing himself lately to be not so much an idealistic Marxist radical as an opportunistic, narcissistic, supremely ambitious and unprincipled political chameleon. He’s the ultimate political rock star, and he’s making Bill Clinton look like the 3 AM lounge act at Harrah’s.

I’m not sure who you think is making “it seem that black people are overrunning everything”, but I haven’t heard that from anyone in this discussion. I work in a professional field and the vast majority of the people with whom I have worked are white. I was simply making the point that most large companies put a great deal of effort in to attracting minority employees. These companies have a difficult time finding minorities who are qualified to do the work. As I said before, I am skeptical of studies like the ones you cited.

The midshipman who graduates last in his class is affectionately called the anchorman. When the anchorman’s company was called, he was cheered by the whole brigade and hoisted onto the shoulders of his friends. I don’t know why Jackson chose to say these things at Fox studios, but I’ve heard several times that Fox management didn’t immediately go public with the tape of Jackson’s comments until Jackson himself decided to talk about it. Jackson is a cynical hustler who has used racial tensions to further his own parasitic existence.
All mainstream candidates have to run on platitudes if they want to be electable - you cant really blame Obama for it, since he’s no worse than anyone else. I’ve heard some of his speeches on youtube and they are painful to listen to since theres literally no content whatsoever, but the same applies to almost every mainstream politician - thats just how modern media culture works. If you want to hear anything sincere/meaningful then you need to look at people who have no chance of being elected and who are hence free to say what they like (Ron Paul, Ralph Nader etc).
Sure they all do it, but Obama has elevated it to a new art form. His Berlin speech is a great example. Unfortunately, whenever he says something of substance, he almost always takes the wrong position on the issue.
