I’ve been writing off and on since 1982. Only one of my poems has ever been published (through poetry.com :wink: ) but that has never been the point anyway.

When my life is done,

Spread my ashes in the setting sun.

Upon the diamond crested wake,

Of the rolling sea,

And sing a soothing song for me.

Written Word

See, think, speak, be heard.

Send a message in the written word.

Chase the tide of sweeping change,

And the soldiers of thought arrange.

Let not the truant thoughts,

Of idle minds.

Ignore the rhythm,

Of the rhyme
