While it’s highly likely that the Supreme Court will avoid the real issue, by including some technicality that would prevent this ruling from being universally-applied to cities and states, there is still the slight possibility that the Supreme Court will clearly answer the question of whether the right to bear arms is an individual right protected by Constitutional amendment against violation by cities/states.
