A Digital Voice Recorder
Digital voice recorders are much better than old tape recorders. About a week ago I finally bought one, for $50. It was Sony ICD-312. Frustrated by learning from the little booklet (which came with the device) I decided to write my own very short introduction. The draft has just been posted at:

Before I stopped reading and writing altogether almost 2 years ago, I used to use this:
I had one with me at all times. When I’d be driving or at work or shopping and a thought for my writing or whatever would come to me, I would simply speak it into it. It was faster than me getting my paper and pen out from my pocket . (that I used to carry with me at all times before the DVR) It was hard for me to figure out how to use it, wish I would have had such an introduction to mine, like the one you had written for yours, would have made way more sense and easier for me to get a handle on it. Then, when I would get home, I’d listen to it, and type out anything that was relevant to whatever I was writing. It was a much treasured device by me then.

I was thinking about digital writing, but never bought any of them, I couldn’t decide which to buy I didn’t know much about it, and then I stopped writing, so that was that.
