Time is the basic physical concept. You should look up basic mechanics in order to find fundamental equations involving time.
For equations about electromagnetism, check out Maxwell’s equations. You’ll need to know higher mathematics (if I translated the term correctly) in order to grasp their full meaning, but there are those crude equations in non-differential and non-integral form.
As for gravity, look up Newton’s law of gravity. It’s a fairly simple law.

My philosophy of science professor always said that Elegant Universe by Brian Greene is a good layman’s introduction to quantum theory.
He was a thorough skeptic and held nightmarish beliefs, but if you want an introduction from someone who believes in quantum theory – this is supposedly a good one.
Atlas , I haven’t read it, but a quote that I saw from it about special relativity on another board seemed quite off.

Greene’s The Elegant Universe is mostly about string theory, which is not the same as quantum mechanics.
A decent introduction to quantum theory is Jim Baggott, The Meaning of Quantum Theory, Oxford University Press, 1992/1997.

Depends on what you want. If you’re looking theory or a “layman’s introduction,” try looking at Amazon. If you want equations, then I’d recommend books used at universities/colleges. Make sure you’re good at mathematics, though, because that’s where it gets really complicated.
