Personally, I’m usually not that amazed by the art you submit to us. I mean, I understand in technical terms why it’s good, and I can see how it fits the Romantic style of art, but it still doesn’t hit me personally.
These, however, I really, really liked. “Anticipation” is the exact idea I get of the woman in the second painting - I couldn’t call it anything but that.
And those gentle pastel colours in the first painting. It’s almost like she isn’t on a bed, but on some soft clouds, strewn across a blue sky.
I’m not good at explaining why I like perceptual art - stuff where you’ve got to describe it by how it looks. All I know is, I like this, a lot, and I would be proud to hang one of these pieces in my home.

Yeah, it just feels so strange to feel strongly about something but to not be able to intellectually explain why.
