The story says: Despite an obvious penchant for broad humor and good-natured mayhem, the Fenwicks also have claimed the loyalty of Ayn Rand scholar Leonard Peikoff, who appreciated the music's philosophical edge enough to book the band at the Rand Institute's annual philosophy conference at the University of Southern California in 2003.I don't even know whether there was some event at U of SoCal in 2003, but find the story marginally dubious. Bryan Posted August 7, 2005 Report Share Posted August 7, 2005 I don't know if this actually corroborates the story but this is from their website: -The Ayn Rand Institute gets wind of The Fenwicks' philosophical lyrics and asks the band to play at its 2003 University of Southern California Philosophy Conference.
