oops, double post.

Terry Goodkind, JK Rowling and Edward Cline are my absolute favorites... (I read mostly fantasy ) I also like RA Salvatore, Robert Jordan, George RR Martin (his Ice and Fire books at least, not his philosophy).

I enjoyed Ender's Game by Card... Haven't gotten around to reading the sequels as of yet. I enjoyed the robot series by Isaac Asimov, but considered the Foundation books to dreadfully boring. I read mostly fantasy but have been getting more into the science fiction area lately. I also enjoyed both Stargate SG-1 and Babylon 5..

Anyone else that watched Episode 4, "Brennidon", feel really annoyed when the townsfolk/farmers started throwing vegetables at the D'Harans instead of actually killing them? Why use our pitchforks when we can throw potatoes at them?

Spoiler alert, episode 3. I simply hope that this was unintentional and not a complete butchering of the Objectivism philosophy behind the story of the books, but it really doesn't seem to be. Other then this little line, I rather enjoyed episode 3.

There is Magic in Forgiveness
Jared McClure replied to studentofobjectivism's topic in Sword of Truth
In the book, after the fourth rule is named, I believe Richard says "He forgot to the word sincere before forgiveness". -
It is true that there certainly is more that could be added to the story-line... Such as Shota's threat to destroy any male child that Richard and Kahlan have. I certainly hope to see something resolving this at some point in the future. However, at the moment, Terry Goodkind is writing a contemporary thriller, not yet titled, based in an American city, to be published by G.P. Putnam's Sons. He has agreed to write three books for them. Hopefully his new books will be just as good as the Sword of Truth series was.
