jrs
I tried to vote 4 times in the "Poll: In which group of countries do you live in?" thread in the "Introductions and Personal Notes" subforum. Each time I selected USA; and each time after I pushed the "Vote" button, it gave me an error saying that I had not selected anything. Myself
It took me three tries in the "What do you read poll". This has personally never happened before. I was posting from dialup - would that have something do with it?
softwareNerd
I've added a poll to this topic, just to test it. Try voting for the first choice. also, jrs: could you try voting in that "countires" poll again and tell me if you get the same result? jrs
softwareNerd: I voted in the poll you just created for this thread; and it worked fine. I went back to the countries poll and voted for USA. Now as you see it does not display the results for USA. Demographics: On which continent do you currently live? North America (excluding USA) [ 9 ][29.03%] South America [ 0 ] [0.00%] Asia [ 5 ] [16.13%] Europe [ 13 ] [41.94%] Africa [ 0 ] [0.00%] Oceania [ 4 ] [12.90%] Other [ 0 ] [0.00%]
softwareNerd
No idea what could have caused the first choice to disappear. I suspect it must be something about the new version of the software. Hopefully, it is something about that specific poll/choice. As a precautionary 'back-up', I've created a current extract of the current summary-results of all the forum polls.
DavidV
Apparently, the author edited the poll between your opening the thread and voting, and you were trying to vote for a non-exististent value.
