    Diet

I saw a BBC documentary recently, about the (potential) negative effects of red meat (and, more importantly, processed meats): http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x24ifl1_horizon-2014-2015-1-should-i-eat-meat-the-big-health-dilemma_lifestyle It was pretty convincing, and it's definitely causing me to make some small changes to my diet, especially when it comes to smoked or otherwise cured meat products... ...and we haven't had a thread on this for a while (last I remember, there were a few threads about the paleo diet, years ago), so I figured maybe we should have a new one. Just in case someone has something new to add...or comment on the video above, if you feel like watching it. I thought it was insightful...went well beyond the usual stuff you find in popular media on the subject (it completely dispels the notion that saturated fat causes heart disease, for instance).
