Mammon
Does anyone know what program is used to view CBZ and CBR files? Of if there is a way to convert them to JPEGs? I've searched the net to no avail on this one.
y_feldblum
Google Search: Result #1; Result #2. Apparently, rename a file with extension .cbz to have extension .zip and then unzip; rename a file with extension .cbr to have extension .rar and then unrar. 7-Zip is free software which can decompress .zip and .rar archives. How do I rename the files? I can rename the file from like "File X.cbr" to "Filey Y.cbr" but I don't know how to change the CBR, CBZ part. softwareNerd
Can you see the extension (the "CBR") in File Explorer? If so, you should be able to rename it, using the rename option from there. If not, it means that your software recognizes that extension as being a file that it can open with some known software. Nevertheless, to see extensions that you otherwise cannot, when you open up that folder in File Explorer, select the menu Tools/Folder Options. Then select the "View" tab. Uncheck the option that says to "Hide extensions". Edited May 8, 2008 by softwareNerd
