Hello all:

Powell History is especially privileged to have among its honor roll of students former Latin teacher, now comedian extraordinaire, TELLER, of the famous duo "Penn & Teller."

Every since joining a recent class of A First History for Adults, Teller has been among my most accomplished students, and without a doubt my most enthusiastic supporter.

What exactly does Teller have to say about Powell History? Simply put: "JOIN NOW!"

Best,

Scott Powell.

Hi, my name is Craig Micon, and I'm currently in the same Powell History class as Teller. I'm also the Vice President and active member of the Tufts Ayn Rand Interest Club. Every word of Teller's testimonial is true. Scott is a fantastic teacher, and his class is outstanding.

He has a tremendous amount of knowledge of history and has organized it into a logical, easy to understand fashion (unlike my 10th Grade US History teacher). More importantly, he focuses on how history can apply to our lives and rejects the study of history for the intrinsic value of the facts alone. In addition, I've never had a teacher so dedicated to enabling his students to REMEMBER all of the stuff we have learned in class. If you have any interest in understanding the story of America, this is the class for you.
