(Now the day’s made me tired
such my passionate wish
the starry night to friendly
greet like a tired child.
Hands, cease your doing,
brow, forget all thought,
all my senses now
would sink into slumber.
And my soul, unguarded,
would soar about in free flight,
in the night’s magic circle
to live deep and thousandfold.)
