Camp Obama -- the Obama Youth

Ever heard of the South, or the Internet?

I live in the South, and have heard no one that I know say that they would not vote for Obama because of his race.

When I ask people here whats the main reason for not voting for Obama the answer I get is

“Because if you get a black into the house, then it’s going to be all about dem blacks. They will steal everything not nailed down!”

Where is here?

I decided to play around in Photoshop:

Seriously, it’s just like Hitler’s mania of camps:

<…>Baroc’s decreasing into barack - this historical process portrays the degradation of Germany under Hitler’s rule. <…>

<…>There were a lot of camps in Germany itself - of many differenet sorts. War camps, sports camps, recreation camps, political meeting’s camps, youth camps, Reich’s labor office’s camps, repatriant’s camps, exile’s and deserter’s camps, bombed townies’ camps, redistribution camps, labor camps, internated one’s camps, war prisoner’s camps and so on, and so on.<…>

From Lithuanian novel “Forest Of Gods” by Balys Sruoga.

…*sigh*.

This is getting out of hand. I don’t like McCain at all, don’t get me wrong, but the Obama supporters have formed a religion, a cult, even. The violence is starting BEFORE the election is even over. I’m wondering what will happen if Obama doesn’t win. Although the chances of that are slim.

There is something fishy about that story to me.

How so?

…The attacker punched and kicked the victim, before using the knife to scratch the letter “B” into her face…volunteering for the McCain-Palin campaign… refused medical treatment after the assault, which happened outside the view of the bank’s surveillance cameras.

Seeing the story above and all the hype around it makes me wonder if Jim Adkisson was forgotten so easy. Or maybe some one got a clever idea from it?

I found an exchange on a Facebook group about the same story with the woman being attacked for political reasons and to my surprise, someone brought up Jim.

Mitch:It seems my prediction of liberal violence and savagery has begun earlier than anticipated.

“Go out there and get in their faces.” - Barack Obama (D)

Maybe that’s why?

Andre: did you magically forget about jim david adkisson?

Mitch:Who? And we’re not talking about a guy named Jim, we’re talking about Obama telling his flock of sheep to “get in their faces” and a guy literally did! WITH A KNIFE!!!

Way to try and change the subject you racist jerk. You just hate all white people you racist!

Andre: this guy adkisson killed people. two people. he walked into a church and started firing. the political discourse in this country is too heavy and hostile PERIOD. adkisson said during his interview with the police that he believed that liberals were trying to destroy america and that he hated them and that they all should be killed and he tried to kill people in a church because he thought they were too liberal. everyone needs to chill, but this thing with people thinking other americans are betraying america because of their views is escalating discourse to a higher level. people just need to learn how to agree to disagree, get along, and get their heads out of their asses. people act like people from other parties are mortal enemies hellbent on this country’s destruction.

Mitch:Well, he was right about liberals trying to destroy the country, but no need to kill people over it. We can let the liberals destroy it and let the libertarians rebuild what the liberals destroy, it’s in our nature. =)

Are you with me Andre? OK, here’s the gameplan! You contribute to the destruction of the country by being a liberal, I’ll wait for you to accomplish your task and I’ll be waiting to rebuild it!! Ready, BREAK!

Andre: don’t you think that the fact that people even believe that could lead them to think that they are justified in killing people because of political reasons?

Mitch: If they’re unstable, perhaps. Things aren’t bad enough yet for any of that. We haven’t suffered through an Obama presidency yet, maybe after four years of that tool we’ll all know what despair is.

This is the precendence with a lot of anti-liberal people.

Evade. Overblow. Personal attack. Downplay. Demean.

And it’s apparently the liberals, just the liberals, we need to worry about being violent.

You guys all know this story is a complete lie right?

I hope the police prosecute her for filing a false report. I also hope my university kicks her out (she’s a student here) for violating our honor code. She owes my home city an apology for this bullshit.

Source.

It had to happen.

Less than two weeks before we vote for a new president, a white woman says a black man attacked her, then scarred her face, and says there was a political motive for it.

Ashley Todd, a 20-year-old white volunteer for John McCain’s presidential campaign, says she was mugged at an ATM machine in Pittsburgh (my hometown) by a big black man. She further says he threw her down, then disfigured her by carving the letter “B” into her face with a sharp implement when he saw that she supported McCain, not Barack Obama.

Part of the appeal of, and the unspoken tension behind, Senator Obama’s campaign is his transformational status as the first African-American to win a major party’s presidential nomination.

That does not mean that he has erased the mutual distrust between black and white Americans, and this incident could become a watershed event in the 11 days before the election.

If Ms. Todd’s allegations are proven accurate, some voters may revisit their support for Senator Obama, not because they are racists (with due respect to Rep. John Murtha), but because they suddenly feel they do not know enough about the Democratic nominee.

If the incident turns out to be a hoax, Senator McCain’s quest for the presidency is over, forever linked to race-baiting.

For Pittsburgh, a city that has done so much to shape American history over the centuries, another moment of truth is at hand.

This might derail the topic, maybe we should spilt the thread Mods?

This could not have been *planned* to be more embarassing to McCain.

That makes me more than a little suspicious that the staffer might be an Obama plant. Instructed to do this to herself, lie like crazy, then fess up once the story makes national news. If you think this is a reach, this kind of deviousness is *common* in upper level politics; it’s what they are good at (just like in AS they are good at following Dagny undetected), it’s a survival skill in politics, and not one in the world of producers.

You have got to be kidding me. The Pittsburgh media is confirming that shortly after the alleged attack they were contacted by McCain campaign folks aggressively pushing the story, specifically saying the “B” carved on the woman’s face had to stand for Barack. She was put up to this by party operatives and seeing as she’s being charged by the understandably disgruntled Pittsburgh police the truth may come out in court, as I don’t see why she should take the fall by herself.

Come on, folks. This is an Objectivist board, not a Republican apologist board. I’m no fan of liberals either but the willingness to jump on any story, no matter how tenuous the proof, if it makes liberals look bad or justifies notions of how evil they are, yet going out of the way to make excuses/apologies for conservatives who seem to do no wrong, disturbs me. I mean seriously, I see people on here citing Little Green Footballs and Newsmax sometimes! Give me a break! It was my understanding that we are preeminently concerned here with the facts of reality. Something is not automatically true just because it jives with your worldview. Show a little, y’know, objectivity!
