As if bailing out big banks and big unions didn’t present enough of a challenge, now President Obama is going to have to deal with too much rain in some areas and too little in others. If Jesus could part the Red Sea, I feel comfortable that Obama can deal with the rain:
"WASHINGTON (AP) – Harmful effects from global warming are already here and worsening, warns the first climate report from Barack Obama’s presidency in the strongest language on climate change ever to come out of the White House.
Global warming has already caused more heavy downpours, the rise of temperatures and sea levels, rapidly retreating glaciers and altered river flows, according to the document released Tuesday by the White House science adviser and other top officials.
“There are in some cases already serious consequences,” report co-author Anthony Janetos of the University of Maryland told The Associated Press. “This is not a theoretical thing that will happen 50 years from now. Things are happening now.”
The White House document – a climate status report required periodically by Congress – contains no new research. But it paints a fuller, more cohesive and darker picture of global warming in the United States than previous studiesand brief updates during the George W. Bush years."
You’ll notice that the White House report isn’t based on any new research, it’s just written in a more alarmist way so as to clear the road for a massive tax and regulatory increase via “cap and trade”. I hope there’s an American economy left after 8 years of Chairman Maobama.

Back in 2000 the apocalyptoids were saying that global warming would cause droughts, it being that there were several droughts going on at the time. Let’s see, it causes droughts then excessive rain. I voted for it then I voted against it. Fire is searing heat but it feels sooooo cool. I have a feeling, Toto not only are we not in Kansas, we ain’t even in a sane part of the Universe. I think we took a wrong turn at the Crab Nebula or y’know that stuff we was smokin’? I think it kicked in (and this last is the origin of Environmentalism anyway).
