Just letting everyone here know about a new registrant. I know nothing about forum etiquette, so keep that in mind. I have posted reponses on other forums and people have gotten angry that I haven’t introduced myself, and so on. Trying to avoid that, I’m letting everyone know I’d like to hang around and observe this forum.
I have been seriously reading Ayn Rand’s fiction and non-fiction for about a year now. I’ve been studying whatever I can about Ayn Rand, the person, as well. My feelings, in short, are that SHE FIGURED IT OUT. The Founding Fathers, John Locke, Thomas Paine, etc., came close, but Ayn Rand completed the thought.
I’m tired of just reading. As my wife currently shows no interest in Objectivism, I thought a forum would satisfy my hunger to talk about these ideas. I hope this is the place. I am a capitalist and devote most of my time in the pursuit of happiness, but I will try and keep up with this forum discussion as one facet of my life. I also plan to write fiction some day, and hope to find a place to develop ideas.
